Small Steps, Big Changes Fifth Grade Poster Contest

Beginning in mid-July and running through August 21, winning designs from the Indiana Recycling Coalition’s 5th Grade Poster contest are on display at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum.  Thanks to the Walmart State Giving Program, the Indiana Recycling Coalition sponsored a poster contest for fifth graders from around the state.  The theme was ‘Small Steps, Big Changes” and focused on the connection between recycling and reducing one’s carbon footprint.  Almost 300 students from across Indiana participated in the contest.  Prizes were awarded for the top 3 posters and honorable mentions were given to 7 posters.  The award winners are listed below:
